Agrahara is an extremely remote place in a Kogile village under Yelahanka hobli. It is around 35 Km away from Bangalore, where more than one hundred poorest of our community people live and are involved in looming work. 4.      Sri Jihveshwara Vidya Samasthe:

The need of the hour is education to all.  Education is an essential part of our life.Witrhout education we cannot survive. But what is the cost of education? The amount of donations, tuition fees etc. has become the bottle-neck for our community people to seek good education. Many minority communities have already started their own educational institutions and are helping their people to give a good education at nominal fees. They are also getting an aid from Govt. including the land to build their own Institutes. We are also being from the backward community, the Sangha has proposed to have an Educational Society of our community. In this context “Shri Jihveshwara Vidya Samasthe” has been established in the year 2005.The Sangha has requested /applied for a free land from state government in Bangalore. The file is under process (the process has got stagnated due to political changes twice.).We are perusing with the Govt. to get allotted the land at the earliest.

5.      Telephone Directory:

Now a day’s telephone has become the common tool & the media to contact the persons, to develop the business, to enhance the socio-religious activities. In view of this, Sangha has decided to make use of this tool for the benefit of our community. This can help all of us to identify, contact, and to know each other, which will automatically enhance the relationship among our people.

The Sangha published ‘Telephone Directory-2006’ last year and distributed free to all during the celebration of Lord Shri Jihveshwara Jayanthi. But the inputs what we got was insufficient. Also many people have sent their contact details after the publication. So Sangha will publish & release the ‘Revised Telephone directry-2007’ on 26th August 2007, during the celebration of Lord Shri Jihveshwara Jayanthi
