B E SWAKULA - PATHWAY OF GROWTH

Name, Membership and Objectives :

"Bharath Electronics Swakula" is shortly named as B E SWAKULA

Bharath Electronics Ltd is a public sector industry working under the Defence Ministry

Government of India. Out of approximately 12000 Workers in BEL only 13 people Of Swakula associates are working in this organization. In order to bring all the swakula Okkuta members together and to increase in participation of fun filled activities, along with the family members of Swakula, To undertake travel, parties, share the information of the well wishers of its members , the B E swakula was formed with these objectives in mind.

Time Mangement:

Bangalore in Karnataka state has sufficient of our members, Community programmes are not being conducted regulary in accordance with the growing population, this is highly regrettable.

The awareness of social obligation has arisen and accordingly even though we are only 12 members, the question of our contribution to our community members started pricking our thoughts. Hence we had decided to devise various new programmes for the benefit Of our Community which is not proposed by any other samsthas so far.

Samuhika Upakarma

The Samuhika Upakarma is being conducted with great pomp by Bangalore Swakula Salee Sangha regularly. Due to various reasons this programme was abruptly discontinued. Our objective was that our people in the society should assemble together in one place and remember the previous grandeur occasions . Our Koota is still arranging such programmes for the benefit of our koota members. This programme is conducted every year in Shravana Masa on a Full Moon Day morning at the Anantha ashram.

Free Medical Camp

We believe in "Health is Wealth". Keeping in mind the protection of the health of our members , For the first time we had arranged a Free Medical Health Check programme in the year...... for our members. Since this is a model programme, we wish to continue same with the help of our other associate samsthas.

"Samuhika Upanayana"

The performing of marriage and upanayanam is proving costly in these days. Common people undertake such programmes by borrowing and taking loans from their friends in the society. To help the common people we had organized the Samuhika Upanayanam in the year 2000. This is conducted every year by us. Such social awareness has to be

Created and same is being observed by us to take more positive steps in future.

Horoscope exchange centre:

As and when the City of Bangalore started growing leaps and bounds , our community people were scattered all over. No platform is created for the search of prospective brides and grooms. In this direction our small effort is " swakula salee vadu vara mahiti Kendra" established in 2001 and continue to maintain same. Registered members in the above Kendra will get all the details regarding the brides and grooms. This centre is right now situated at Om Shri Medicals, Ta Ra Su Road,Gayathrinagar,Bangalore and the timings of this Kendra is: Monday,Wednesday,Saturday 12.20 pm to 1.20pm

Sri Jiveshwara Jayanthi

Sri Jiveshwar Jayanthi was started in a small and humble way during 2004.

Our intentions of conducting Sri Jhiveshwara annual celeberations in a large and grand scale in a centrally located place should not be a past glory but we hope it will be a reality in future celeberations.

New programmes:

Socially backward people like us find very difficult to perform marriage functions without taking loans. Keeping this in our mind we have organized Samuhia Vivaha in various places in Karnataka. To avoid these expensive affairs we wish to promote the samukia upnayana and also propose to conduct more and more samuhika marriages by creating the awarness amonthe members to participate in such programmes.

Our Final Note:

Our programmes are funded by BE Swakula members, We had not approached any section of people financially for conducting our programmes. As such the members are volountarily lending us a helping hand to carry on the social work. Honest organizations like Swakula salee samaja members will carry on the programmes and give us a new strength in creating new improved programmes for our samaj members.

FIRST YEAR ACHIEVEMENTS OF SAMYUKTA SWAKULASALI SANGH

Sri Jiiveshwar Jayanthi Celeberation and inauguration of the above Sangha

The Jiveshwar Jayanthi celeberations was conducted on________ at Sri Krishna Kalyana Mantap,Basaveswaranagar, Along with this the above sangha was also established under the leadership of Sri.Ashok MLA,Uttarahalli constituency and was inagurted by Sri K.C.Kondiah. A Galaxy of politicians, Donors and well wishers and the party workers of the Sangha made the above occasion a grand suceess.The Sangha also submitted a memorandum on this occasion.

Office premises of the Sangha:

As per law the sangha should have premises for conducting the activities with the members and the public. In view of the financial constraints the working committee Under the leadership of Sri Ramakrishna Padamukhi had informed to give one room In his building for performing the activities of the Sangha. Hence the premises was Inaugurated on Vijayadashami......

Assembling of Bride & Groom:

Our people in the society are spread all over in different trade, in different employment and to help the people in the society we had arranged for the Vadhu-Vara Samavesha at the Lakshmi priya Kalyan Mantapa on 30 th Jan 2005 which was inagurated by Sri Hari L Khoday. Mr.B.N.Ramamurthy presided and Mr.Mohan Ekabote was the chief guest on this occasion. In the above meeting over 200 bride and grooms were assembled.

Already several marriages have been conducted. A book named "Vadhu-Vara Parichaya Pustaka" ( hand book) was brought out for the benefit of general public in society.It is a great regret to state that many of the members do not inform the society after the marriages are conducted. The general people should keep in touch with the sangha so that the morale of the sangha will be boosted for making new programmes.

JIVESHWARA VIDHYABHIRUDHI TRUST

Sri Jiveshwara Vidya Samsta

The Supreme Dhana is Vidya dhana. The number of educational establishments are many in Bangalore than any other cities. There is a spirit of competition among these establishments. Every institution is marching towards the path of development. Hence we intended to establish our own Educational Society as proposed by Sri Chandrakanth

Bhandare, one of our great patron of our sangha. The proposal was approved and the Institution was named as Sri Jiveshwar Vidya Samsthe. This samsthe was inaugurated on ......along with Sri Jiveshwar Jayanthi.

Our efforts are to make the Jiveshwar Vidya Samste as a leading institution.Our prime duty is to extend and get cooperation from all the members of our sangha and also request our members to extend Financial assistance for the institution.

Housing:

The Sangha has a desire to have its own building in Rajarajeswari corporation area And the necessary application is given to Chief Minister. We are also getting full co-operation from Sri Sindhia and Sri Kondiah and Sri Ashok. We hope to do the above soonest.

Annual Souvenir

On the eve of the completion of the first annual year of the Sangha it was decided to release a Souvenir namely "Swakula Jyothi" on ......along with Jiveshwar Jayanthi

Membership

The membership of the sangha has reached around 200 nos. The members of the sangha are requested to participate in all the activities and help us in making the society veryh3 and to serve in the growth mankind which is our main objective’
